Oulu Festival

The Oulu Festival is a film-like event with six festivals and additional programming, which attracts around 60 000 visitors every year. During the month, visitors can enjoy culture in the Oulu region at hundreds of different events, ranging from music to film, literature and performing arts.

Oulu Festival members include Elojazz, Oulunsalo Soi chamber music festival, Oulun Muusajuhlat word art festival, Night of the Arts, Oulu Music Video Festival, Oulu Air Guitar World Championships and Flow Productions. Members organise well-established, high-quality cultural events in August.

The programme varies from year to year and includes intimate macro concerts and a choir day.

The Oulu Festival has an Eco-Compass environmental certificate.
